In short
Durgent Overnight Peptide Collagen Lip Mask is a melting balm lip mask I tried for cracked, flaky lips. I applied it generously overnight and lightly before makeup, and my lip surface felt more polished. Verdict: a handy option for my dry-lip routine.

What worried me when my lips were cracked and flaky?
After fatigue and stress piled up, my lips became sore and cracked. Flakes looked even more noticeable when I put on lipstick, and I was disappointed that even after exfoliating, they would start lifting again soon afterward.

Why was my existing lip care not enough?
Rather than simply applying a thick layer of moisturizing product right away, I thought I needed to look at the condition of my lips and care for them consistently.

What was my first impression of the Durgent lip mask?
I tried it while looking for a sleeping mask to wear overnight. The apricot-pink box and case were small and lightweight, so they were easy to tuck into a pouch, and the included spatula made it convenient to scoop out the product.

It was a melting-balm texture that felt not too sticky. The orange-pink balm, the note that it was manufactured by Kolmar Korea, and the labels for four peptide collagen ingredients and shea butter all caught my eye when I chose it.

How did I use it at night?
Before bed, I scooped out a generous amount with the spatula and applied it to my lips. At first it went on rich yet soft; after about 30 minutes, it felt less heavy and left my lips feeling moisturized. The next day, the lifted flakes seemed less noticeable and my lip surface looked more polished, which I was happy with.

How did I use it before makeup?
Before makeup, I applied a very thin layer. I put it on 5 minutes before applying lip products, then gently pressed my lips with a tissue to remove excess oil; even lip products that usually emphasized my flakes seemed to apply a little more neatly.

What did I do when my lips felt especially dry?
When my lips felt particularly dry and sore, I applied a generous layer before bed, placed a thin piece of plastic wrap over them, and used it like a mask for about 5–10 minutes. After using this method, the dryness and soreness felt a little less noticeable to me.

How did my lips feel after using it consistently?
As I kept using the three methods, my lips felt smooth and moisturized in the morning. Once the flakes looked more settled, I also felt less burdened when applying matte lip products. Still, this is my personal experience, and results can feel different depending on the condition of your lips.
