Ichiba Ramen is a ramen restaurant near Sokcho Intercity Bus Terminal in Sokcho, Gangwon. I had a late lunch there with friends, choosing spicy Karai Ramen, crab and pollock roe cream ramen, and butadon; the broth was satisfying and the cream ramen tasted light to me.
Hwangbuja Twigim is a Korean restaurant in Sokcho Central Market’s squid sundae alley. I took its nurungji squid sundae and king prawn fritters back to my accommodation for beer snacks; the prawns were plump, while the squid sundae paired tender squid with a crisp exterior.
