Rainbow Pocha Isu Branch is a late-night bar near Isu Station in Dongjak, Seoul. After 1 a.m., I stopped by for a third round of chicken rosé pasta and bokso-sa made with bokbunja wine, cider, and soju. Verdict: a great easygoing choice for late second or third drinks.
Susan Sadang Main Branch is an izakaya in Dongjak, Seoul. I visited with a close younger friend for 20 plump raw shrimp sashimi, wrapping it with seaweed, white kimchi, and wasabi, then dipping it in Buldak mayo. Verdict: a date spot I’d happily return to whenever I’m craving raw shrimp sashimi.
Weizenhaus Bangbae Branch 1 is a craft beer bar in Seocho, Seoul, right by Sadang Station Exit 11. We paired Extra Margherita pizza and whole-potato-style fries with green grape ale and Cloud Wheat Ale, while the kiosk’s detailed descriptions made ordering easy. A great spot to wrap up a weekday evening with pizza and beer.
