Changwon hair salon: Vivienne Hair, Changwon Sangnam branch
I visited Vivienne Hair, Changwon Sangnam branch (비비엔느헤어 창원상남점), a hair salon in Sangnam-dong, Changwon, for all-over ash brown color to cover grown-out grays and even out faded color. After a consultation, we chose a light shade that left my roots looking tidy, and I remember the treatment taking less than two hours. I was happy with the result, but the small basement parking lot was full, so I used an outside lot.

My gray roots had grown out quite a bit, and my previous color had faded, so I went to get my hair color evened out. I booked through Naver at Vivienne Hair, Changwon Sangnam branch (비비엔느헤어 창원상남점), and chose an all-over light ash brown color after a consultation.
Where is the Changwon hair salon, and how did booking and parking work?
The salon is in Suite 201 on the second floor of Moise Building (모이세빌딩), at 23 Danjeong-ro, Seongsan-gu, Changwon, South Korea (경상남도 창원시 성산구 단정로 23 2층 201호). It faces the road at a large intersection, so it wasn’t hard to find. The original post lists the hours as 10:00–21:00 and says Naver reservations are required, so I booked before visiting.

The building’s basement parking lot was on the small side and was full when I arrived, so I used Real Parking (레알주차장). According to the original post, two hours of parking are covered, except for haircuts, blow-dries and down perms (treatments to flatten hair). If you use the outside lot, you need to collect a parking discount voucher from the salon.

At my walking pace, it took less than 10 minutes to get from Real Parking to the salon.
Was the salon comfortable for waiting and getting my hair done?
The salon was spacious, with natural light coming through large windows facing the main road. The open view outside kept it from feeling closed in.

They were using Ayunche (아윤채) products for their conditioning treatments. The shampoo room was spacious too, and I found the reclining bed comfortable.

The self-service drinks station had several options, including tomato, grape and orange juice.

Why did I choose light ash brown for gray coverage?
Before the treatment, my previous color had faded considerably, leaving my hair patchy overall. My gray roots had also grown out, and it bothered me that they showed whether I wore my hair down or tied it up.

Since my gray roots had grown out so much, I decided on all-over color and discussed the shade with the salon director. I thought going too dark would make new gray growth stand out more, so we decided to match the lighter tone near my scalp. The director also explained that a light color would likely suit my fair complexion.

How did the coloring process go, and how long did it take?
Before applying the color, they sprayed on a scalp protectant.

The director worked quickly but carefully. At each stage, they explained what they were doing and checked whether I felt any discomfort.

They brought me coffee and snacks during the treatment, so I had those while I waited.

They applied nourishing and conditioning products at intervals. I think those steps added a little time, but I remember the whole coloring treatment taking less than two hours.

How did the ash brown color change my gray roots and patchy color?
They mixed several brown shades to create the ash brown color. The uneven color around my grown-out roots was neatly covered, making my hair look tidier overall.

After the treatment, I also collected the parking discount voucher I needed for the outside lot.

They also gave me shampoo samples for caring for my hair after coloring. Going light ash brown for the first time in a while was a refreshing change, and people around me said the color suited me, so I was pleased with it.
