Ichiba Ramen is a ramen restaurant in Sokcho, Gangwon, where my husband and I ordered Special Tonkotsu Ramen, Kara Ramen, and butadon. The large pork belly topping and rich beef-bone broth stood out, while adding shichimi to the Kara Ramen made it spicy enough to make me cough.
That Man's Italian Restaurant & Lounge is an Italian restaurant on the sixth floor of Dongwon Building in Jungang-dong, Ansan. My husband and I shared aglio e olio spaghetti, squid ink risotto, and lamb chop steak; the chewy pasta and juicy lamb stood out. The softly lit setting felt cozy enough for an anniversary meal, though we did not have wine because of work the next day.
