Why did I look for a portable cleanser in a home without a bidet?
After moving into a place without a bidet, the lingering uncomfortable feeling after using the bathroom was more significant than I expected. My 40-month-old daughter also sometimes complained of discomfort, so we used bidet wipes at home, but carrying them every time we went out—and the hygiene side of it—was on my mind.
Lulu Peach is a water-gel product that you pump onto toilet paper. Its small tube was easy to keep in a pouch, and I thought it would be something I could bring along for travel or camping, too.
How do you use it?
First, wipe with regular toilet paper, then pump it onto toilet paper once or twice and wipe. Being able to bring one small tube instead of carrying wet wipes separately felt convenient to me.
What was the unscented feel like?
The product was unscented. I normally like fragrance, so I was a little disappointed at first, but because this is for an area that can feel sensitive, I thought unscented would actually be a better fit. The lavender, chamomile, and aloe ingredients and skin-test results introduced in the original post are the brand's claims, so individual reactions may vary.
Why did I consider it instead of wet wipes?
