Charcoal cleansing balm for oily, dehydrated skin: HEEDA Jirisan

How did it feel on oily, dehydrated skin?

I used this after looking for a cleansing balm because summer sebum and blackheads had been bothering me. I usually use cleansing water, but it felt as though sebum and blackheads were building up, so I decided to use this instead of cleansing water for a while.

It is a black solid balm, but it melted quickly on my skin and was easy to massage in gently. After actually washing my face, it did not leave behind a slippery oily feeling and finished with a moisturized feel, which I was happy with.

Did it remove makeup well?

I applied a highly staining tint, eyeliner, and blush to the back of my hand, then tried removing them. As I rubbed with the cleansing balm, I could see the makeup coming off, and afterward my skin felt moisturized rather than overly dry.

When I used it on my face, the black color from the charcoal ingredient looked a little unfamiliar at first, but since it is a wash-off product, it was not a problem to use. I am going to keep using it and watch for changes related to sebum.

What are the size and storage method like?

The 100ml size felt generous. A spoon is stored inside the lid and can be fitted over the product for storage, so it was convenient not having to find a separate place to keep the spoon.
