I took a one-night, two-day trip near Yeongjong Island in Incheon, close to Seoul :) While searching for good places to eat on Yeongjong Island, I found 300°C Seafood Galbi Main Branch (300도씨해물갈비 본점), known for its seafood pork back ribs. We visited at weekend lunchtime, and, as expected from such a popular spot, it was packed and guests kept coming in! Let me tell you about this generous seafood braised-rib meal that was just right for my taste buds :)

Visiting information for 300°C Seafood Galbi on Yeongjong Island
Tuesday–Saturday 10:30–21:00 Sunday 10:00–20:50 Regularly closed every Monday Groups welcome / high chairs / parking
It is close to the Yongyudo Tourist Complex and Eulwangri Beach, so it is easy to get to. There is parking right in front of the restaurant, so parking is no problem! Pets are welcome, too.

A place to enjoy delicious seafood braised pork back ribs filled with smoky flavor, cooked at the tastiest temperature: 300°C!

If there is a wait, write your name on the waiting list in front of the restaurant and wait a little. There is separate pet-friendly seating, so write that beside your name on the list :) This popular restaurant has also appeared on several TV programs.
Inside the restaurant and pet-friendly seating
The interior was spacious and clean. There were tables for four, six, and even eight people, making it perfect for group gatherings, too. Since we visited on the weekend, lots of families were there for a meal.
There is separate seating where dogs are welcome!
The interior was divided, with a pet-friendly area on one side. There were guests dining with their pets, too. Since it is separated off, you could enjoy your meal comfortably.
Seafood braised ribs menu and spice-level choices
There are cuttlefish seafood jjim (steamed braised seafood), seafood braised pork back ribs, stir-fried octopus, seafood kalguksu (knife-cut noodle soup), and seafood pajeon (scallion pancake). Set menus are available too, so if you come with a group, a set is a nice way to try a variety. ✔️ Please note that orders require a minimum of two people.
We ordered the seafood braised pork back ribs for two. We considered a set, but it looked like it would be too much food, so we chose an à la carte dish—and it was still so generous! Just a heads-up: rice is not included~~ I was already excited for the seafood braised ribs, which the owner had clearly developed with such care~

✔️ You can choose the spice level for the seafood braised ribs, too. We picked mild, about as spicy as Shin Ramyun!

You can add noodles, ribs, and seafood if you need more. We added udon noodles, too :) If you join the receipt-review event, you can receive udon noodles or a soft drink for free :) There is also an exciting challenge for receipt-review writers: set a timer clock to 05:00—five seconds! We tried it for fun on our way out after paying, and it was thrilling!!
Side dishes and the self-serve corner

The basic side dishes arrived as soon as we ordered: warm miyeokguk (seaweed soup), dotorimuk (acorn jelly), bean sprouts, baek-kimchi (mild white kimchi), stir-fried seaweed stems, and pickled radish wraps. Such tasty side dishes to have with spicy food!

They set out the side dishes at first, and there is a self-serve corner where you can bring back as much more as you need :) The seaweed soup was rich and delicious, too.

High chairs and a microwave are available, so it is convenient for a meal with children, too!
How generous are the seafood braised ribs for two?
Here come the seafood braised ribs, and they looked generous even at a glance! Abalone, one whole octopus, squid, and all sorts of seafood meet pork back ribs! It also came with fish roe and goni (cod milt), so there was even more variety to enjoy. There was a witty little sign stuck in it, too—so fun.
There was plenty of abalone and octopus, too. It felt like I would get my energy back the moment I ate it 👍 The abalone and octopus came whole, so we cut them into easy-to-eat pieces.
And the pork back ribs were especially unbelievably tender! The meat slipped right off the bone as soon as I lifted it with the tongs. They were easy to eat and not tough at all. After separating the ribs from the bones, we mixed everything well so the sauce coated it evenly!
The octopus was tender, and with squid, fish roe, and cod milt all included, it almost felt like eating a full seafood jjim. I loved being able to try everything~

Rice cakes and sweet-potato noodles come with it as standard. I thought udon noodles would be perfect with this spicy sauce, so we ordered them separately—and they were a match made in heaven!! They soaked up all that sauce and were so delicious.

The mushrooms and tender pork back ribs were exactly to my taste, so I enjoyed every bite. It was not as heavily seasoned as I expected, and the mild spice level we chose was just right—not overwhelming. Deliciously spicy, I suppose! It would be tasty mixed with rice halfway through, or you could stir-fry rice with the remaining sauce at the end for a satisfying finish!

After your meal, you can also buy cup ice cream for dessert for ₩3,000~ We were heading straight to a café, so we debated it, then passed :)
