I ordered stone-pot octopus roe rice and grilled Korean pork tteokgalbi, and found the spicy octopus and sweet-savory patty easy to alternate between; self-service pickup and dish return are part of the setup.
Yeoyejeong is a charcoal-grilled meat restaurant in Seo-myeon, Yangyang, Gangwon. During my Yangyang trip, I had tender marinated ribs that were not overly sweet and refreshing baekkimchi noodles; the neat side dishes and large free parking lot were also satisfying.
Cafe Dunchi is a café floating on the lower Namdaecheon River in Yangyang, Gangwon, connected to the Namdaecheon Water Leisure Experience Center downstairs. I had coffee overlooking the river, then drove an electric boat myself; seeing the scenery from both indoors and on the water was the highlight.
