Jeju Noheung-dong chicken kalguksu for solo diners: Deureomtong
Deureomtong Sotttukkeong Dakdoritang is a chicken-focused Korean restaurant on Wonnoheung-ro in Noheung-dong, Jeju City, in the alley behind Eunhuine Haejangguk. Dining alone, the ₩16,000 dakhanmari kalguksu (whole chicken with hand-cut noodles) and the ₩11,000 crispy chili-chive pancake were simmered right on the drum furnace at the table, and one whole chicken was generous enough to be too much for one person. For a filling meal at a fair price in Jeju, Deureomtong Sotttukkeong Dakdoritang is a solid pick.
