Ramen near Deungdae Beach in Sokcho for an after-swim dinner: Ichiba
Ichiba Ramen is an authentic Japanese ramen restaurant on Jungang-ro near Deungdae Beach in Sokcho. After a full day of swimming at Deungdae Beach, the writer came to Ichiba Ramen to warm up with special tonkotsu ramen, miso ramen and gara-age (Japanese fried chicken), and the broth simmered for 30 hours was rich enough to drink to the last drop. With charging cables and a baby chair on hand, Ichiba Ramen works well as a one-meal dinner stop on a beach trip.
