High-fluoride gum toothpaste with a mild herb scent: Verdante

What criteria did I use to choose this toothpaste?

When choosing toothpaste, I tend to look first at fluoride content and gum-care benefits. I chose Verdante High-Fluoride Gum Toothpaste 1450 Fluoride with cavity prevention as well as gum and bad-breath care in mind. The one I used was the 100g, six-tube set.

How are the fluoride content and ingredients presented?

As I looked over the product, the part that caught my eye was its stated fluoride content of 1450 ppm.

In the ingredient description, I noted tocopheryl acetate and sodium pyrophosphate. It was introduced as using herbal extracts, 16 plant-derived herbal ingredients, and coconut-derived surfactants, without SLS, SLES, or SDS.

How did my gums and mouth feel while using it?

Normally, there were times when my gums would sting or bleed after brushing. While using this toothpaste, I felt that the irritation and sensitivity decreased. My teeth also seemed to feel stronger, though that is simply how it felt for me.

I also felt that the stuffy feeling in my mouth when I woke up was less than before. Rather than a strong mint scent, it left a natural freshness behind, and that feeling tended to last.

Were the foam and scent harsh?

My mouth felt comfortable and moisturized after brushing. Because it has a soft cream texture, the foam was not excessive, and my mouth felt clean when I finished brushing.

It did not have an intensely cooling sensation, and its mild herbal scent lingered, which made it nice for everyday use. As I kept using it, my oral condition seemed to settle down, so I even felt like repurchasing it.

Since it is a set of six 100g tubes, I felt it was easy enough to keep on hand and use. However, I did not separately record the exact purchase price or how long I used it.
