Magok Korean restaurant with kids, ketchup-free egg roll: Mikodam
Mikodam Magok-Balsan Branch is a Korean set-meal restaurant on a side street near Balsan Station in Gangseo, Seoul. On a Dongchon-dong neighbour's recommendation, the writer came with a child and ordered flounder seaweed soup and seasoned cockles, and the staff happily left the ketchup off the egg roll. Refillable namul sides and pork stir-fry, plus rice puffs kept warm in an insulated pot, make Mikodam an easy choice for a family meal with kids.
