Gangnam Chinese restaurant for solo shaomai and beef noodles
Namsogwan U Yuk Dosakmyeon is a two-floor Chinese restaurant near Exit 11 of Gangnam Station in Seoul. Eating solo, the writer ordered shaomai made to order at the entrance (5pc, ₩9,000) and a hearty beef dosakmyeon with thick-cut meat (₩11,000), tasting just like the flavors remembered from Taiwan. Table-side ordering and card payment made it an easy, comfortable spot to eat alone.
