Yangjae gamjatang restaurant with a fried rice finish: Chomu Gamjatang
Chomu Gamjatang is a Korean restaurant in Seocho, Seoul, at 59 Nonhyeon-ro, specialising in gamjatang (pork bone and potato stew) and ppyeojjim (steamed pork bones). On a weekday visit at noon, the order was a small gamjatang with two bowls of rice plus fried rice to finish; the stew arrived already long-simmered, so there was no wait, and the ugeoji (napa cabbage greens) are grown by the owner. With pork cutlets on the menu and mild spice, Chomu Gamjatang works well for a family meal with children.
