What are the texture and components of HEEDA Cleansing Balm like?
The product came in a black case with a charcoal-like look. When I opened the one-touch lid, there was an included spatula that could be stored in its designated spot inside the lid.
It looked firm from the outside, but it was actually a soft balm texture.
How did I use it for cleansing?
I scooped out as much as I needed with the spatula and massaged it onto my skin. It felt as though it melted as soon as it touched my skin, then I added a small amount of water and massaged again until it emulsified into a white texture. I rubbed areas that were harder to remove more carefully during the emulsifying step.
Did it remove heavy color makeup too?
I tried removing makeup with the cleansing balm alone, and it gently removed heavy color makeup and glitter as well. After washing my face, my skin felt moisturized rather than tight.
I also tried it on strong brush-pen eyeliner. After massaging with the cleansing balm, I added water and focused on massaging as it emulsified, and it came off cleanly.
What concerns might it be worth trying for?
I was concerned about uneven texture around my nose and under my eyes, so I planned to care for those areas with this product. It may suit people who want to remove makeup without irritation or who prefer thorough cleansing through an emulsifying step.
