Siznique Shinsegae Department Store Daegu Branch is a seasonal-fruit cake shop on basement level 1 of Shinsegae in Dong-gu, Daegu. For her mother's birthday, the writer arrived on a Saturday opening run and chose the peach cake Floral Peach Mini (38,000 won), topped with sliced fresh peach and filled with still-firm stewed peach and yogurt whipped cream. The Floral Peach Mini vanished at the family gathering, and the writer's only regret was not buying the larger No.1 size.
