Pocheon restaurant with free side dish bar refills: Myeongimong
Myeongimong is a local Korean restaurant on Sinpyeong-ro in Sinbuk-myeon, Pocheon, Gyeonggi, serving hand-made charcoal-grilled tteokgalbi (grilled short rib patties) and house-made makguksu (cold buckwheat noodles). Set Menu 1 — 1 tteokgalbi plus 2 makguksu for 32,000 won — came with a 2,000 won cheese add-on, and the self-serve bar allowed several refills of pickled vegetables and doenjang soup. The salt-seasoned side dishes were clean and refreshing next to the smoky tteokgalbi, good enough that ordering only one patty felt like a mistake.
