Udon restaurant in Dongjak: cold tenbukkake vs warm kitsune at Kosi
Kosi Isu Branch (코시 이수점) is a Japanese restaurant serving house-made udon and hand-breaded tonkatsu in an alley by Exit 9 of Isu Station in Dongjak, Seoul. On a hot day the writer ordered both a cold tenbukkake udon (11,000 won) and a warm kitsune udon (11,000 won), each set with inari sushi and cabbage salad, and found the shrimp and sweet pumpkin tempura thinly battered and plump inside. Kosi Isu Branch is a good pick when you want to taste a cold and a hot udon side by side in one sitting.
