Hapjeong Japanese restaurant ebi katsudon and karaage: Makise Hapjeong

Makise Hapjeong is a Japanese restaurant in Mapo, Seoul specializing in kaisendon (seafood rice bowls) and donburi, a five-minute walk from Exit 8 of Hapjeong Station. On a weekend date for two, the order came to kaisendon 20,000 won, ebi katsudon (fried shrimp rice bowl) 12,000 won, a side of karaage (Japanese fried chicken) 7,000 won and a zero-sugar cola 3,000 won, and each dish arrived with its own sauce. None of the three dishes at Makise Hapjeong tasted over-seasoned, so this self-paid visit ended with a plan to come back.
