Theme Park Toon is a large indoor immersive experience center on Eunsu-gil in Jeju City, Jeju, with webtoon and character photo zones, 360-degree media art and a free AI comic-conversion kiosk. The writer toured Theme Park Toon with a child, from the giant animal-friends symbol tower and wolf-mouth entrance to an AI webtoon character made from the writer's own face, an LED floor game and cookie and jelly making. Hamdeok Beach black pork BBQ, Jocha Set sauce pairings: Jeju Samchun

Jeju Samchun is an aged black pork BBQ restaurant near Hamdeok Beach in Jocheon-eup, Jeju. The Jocha Set (500g, 60,000 won) combines pork neck, pork belly and rib meat that Jeju Samchun says is wet-aged for 300 hours at 0–2°C and smoked over grapevine chips. Staff grilled the whole set at the table, and it was enjoyed with pollack roe, Maldon salt, breadcrumb salt, myeoljeot (anchovy sauce) and raw gim (seaweed) for wrapping. For a clean, pleasant black pork restaurant near Hamdeok Beach, Jeju Samchun is worth recommending.

Jeju Dongmun Market dessert shop: oranda fan's tasting, Cheongchuni

Cheongchuni Oranda Dongmun Market Main Branch Tapdong is a handmade oranda (Korean puffed-rice cracker) and gwajul (traditional rice cracker) dessert shop in Dongmun Market, Jeju City. A self-confessed oranda fan tried yuzu, garlic, gamtae (seaweed) and nut oranda plus rice gwajul from the tasting plate in front of the shop, then looked over the donut oranda and gift boxes. Verdict: Cheongchuni Oranda is night and day compared with hard store-bought oranda, and a great pick for an unusual Jeju travel gift.
