Charcoal cleansing duo for makeup removal: HEEDA Jirisan Set
In short
I tried the HEEDA Jirisan Moist Charcoal Cleansing Duo SET, a Korean cleansing set with a foam cleanser and cleansing balm. The foam made dense lather from a small amount, while the balm removed color makeup more easily after I added lukewarm water.

What is included in the HEEDA charcoal cleansing duo?

It was a set made up of a foam cleanser and a cleansing balm. The foam cleanser came in a tube, so I needed to remove the seal before use; the seal felt a little firm.

What did the foam cleanser lather feel like?

The formula felt thick. Using a foaming tool, I could make abundant, dense foam without squeezing out much, and perhaps because of the charcoal ingredient, the foam was close to a light gray.

I used it to wash my face on days when I wore sunscreen. After cleansing, it left a moisturized feel rather than making my skin feel tight.

How did I remove color makeup with the cleansing balm?

After removing the clear inner cap from the cleansing balm, I used the dedicated spoon fitted into the lid to scoop it out. It looked firm, but felt soft when scraped and melted into an oil with the warmth of my hands.

I tried it on lipstick, eyebrow product, eyeliner, and concealer. When I first rubbed it on dry skin, the other products came off quickly, but waterproof eyeliner remained. After adding lukewarm water, it came off smoothly.

How did it feel after use?

The cleansing balm was convenient as a first cleansing step when removing color makeup. It removed makeup smoothly without much force, and my skin seemed to retain moisture without feeling tight after cleansing. I also liked the scent of both products.
