Family lunch with parents at a Sokcho makguksu restaurant: Topgol

Sokcho Topgol Makguksu Main Branch is a buckwheat noodle restaurant a five-minute walk from Sokcho Beach in Sokcho, Gangwon. For a family lunch with their parents, the writer shared four bowls — deulmemak (perilla oil buckwheat noodles) at 13,000 won, makguksu (buckwheat cold noodles, extra portion) at 13,000 won, pollack salad buckwheat noodles at 13,000 won and perilla buckwheat noodle soup at 12,000 won — plus a buckwheat pancake. The seasoning at Sokcho Topgol Makguksu tasted clean rather than MSG-heavy, so everyone felt comfortable after the meal.
