Busan Korean restaurant for a rainy-day 11am brunch: Songjeongok
Songjeongok is a hanok-style Korean set-menu restaurant a 5-minute walk from Songjeong Beach in Haeundae, Busan. On a rainy morning, arriving right at the 11:00 opening, one set of abalone seafood hinoki pot rice (23,000 won per person) served as both breakfast and lunch, with the abalone pot rice, gabrisal bossam (pork wraps) and seafood hinoki steam all arriving at once — more than enough food for one order. Songjeongok works well for a family meal or a group gathering before or after a swim at Songjeong Beach.
