On a weekend outing the writer had an early lunch of seasoned dakgalbi, soy sauce dakgalbi and cold makguksu (buckwheat noodles), with a banchan spread of deodeok muchim, chive salad and acorn jelly rich enough for a full Korean set-meal restaurant. With balanced dakgalbi, noodles and side dishes, it's a solid pick for a family meal.
