Gangnam Korean BBQ with patented herbal galbitang: Gungmin Hanwoo
Gungmin Hanwoo House Samseong Station branch is a hanwoo beef restaurant on Teheran-ro 86-gil in Gangnam, Seoul, that serves only Korean hanwoo and is known for a patented herbal galbitang (short rib soup). Two diners grilled the Gukdae assorted set 400g (top sirloin, flat iron, whole short rib meat) for 78,000 won over charcoal and finished with hanwoo brisket doenjang jjaguri (thick soybean stew) for 10,000 won. The fatty top sirloin and the chewy short rib meat were the highlights, and the patented herbal galbitang at 16,000 won is first on the list for the next visit.
