Sangam-dong katsu restaurant with window bar seats and beer: Kitto

Kitto is a tonkatsu (Japanese pork cutlet) restaurant on the second floor of a building on Maebongsan-ro 2-gil in Sangam-dong, Seoul, about a 3-minute walk from Exit 9 of DMC Station. The tenderloin katsu costs 16,000 won and was eaten with a small beer, curry, ochazuke (rice in green tea broth) and lemon sherbet; the low-temperature cooking keeps the meat moist, and alternating between salt, wasabi and sauce keeps each bite interesting. With bar seats along the full-length window, Kitto suits both solo meals and dinner after work.
