Gongneung tsukemen spot with spicy miso and chicken thigh: Torikokoro
Torikokoro Gongneung Direct Store is a house-made-noodle tsukemen (dipping noodle) restaurant in a basement off the alley by Dokkaebi Market in Gongneung-dong, Nowon, Seoul. The order was one classic tsukemen and one spicy miso tsukemen, both with 200g noodles plus added chicken thigh, and the noodles came out chewy like rice cake with a broth that was rich but not salty. The verdict: Torikokoro's noodles beat those at Menya Kanetora in Fukuoka.
