Insa-dong makguksu restaurant with eel buckwheat gimbap: Goshine
Goshine Donghae Makguksu Jongno branch is a hanok buckwheat noodle restaurant in Insa-dong, Seoul, the second-generation offshoot of a shop facing Gangmun Beach in Gangneung. Stopping in with a friend before a gallery show, the writer ordered water makguksu (cold buckwheat noodles), perilla oil makguksu and eel buckwheat gimbap (seaweed rice roll), and the noodles, pressed fresh after each order, were springy with a clear buckwheat aroma. Even the self-serve yeolmu kimchi (young radish kimchi) was good, making Goshine Donghae a buckwheat spot in Insa-dong worth recommending.
