Cleansing balm for dry skin: HEEDA Jirisan Moisturizing Charcoal
In short
HEEDA Jirisan Moisturizing Charcoal Cleansing Balm is a Korean cleansing balm I tried after my face felt tight after washing in dry weather. It melted mascara and lipstick in a wrist test and left my skin feeling less tight after rinsing, though I would check suitability for individual skin concerns separately.

My face felt tight after washing in dry weather, so I tried HEEDA cleansing balm.

What were the balm texture and scent like?

When I opened the lid, I could see the moist balm texture. When I scooped some out with my finger, it melted with my body heat and turned into a soft oil, with a subtle scent.

How did it remove waterproof makeup?

Instead of testing it on my face, I applied mascara and lipstick to my wrist. After applying the cleansing balm and gently massaging it in, the color makeup melted away, and I did not feel any stinging while rubbing.

How did my skin feel after rinsing?

After adding water and rinsing, it finished without feeling slippery or leaving a residue. My skin felt soft immediately after washing, and it felt less tight even without applying toner right away.

Would I keep using it in dry weather?

For me, the balance between cleansing power and the moisturized feel after washing worked well. However, rather than concluding from my experience alone whether it manages sebum and impurities or suits sensitive skin, I think it is better to check based on your own skin condition.
