Samseong Korean restaurant, less-spicy octopus set for two: Obongjip
Obongjip Samseong Branch is a Korean restaurant on Teheran-ro 81-gil in Gangnam, Seoul, a 5-minute walk from Samseong Jungang Station Exit 5 and close to COEX. Two diners who can't take heat ordered the Nakji Obongjip Special at the less-spicy level, which brings octopus stir-fry for two, a small Obongjip bossam (boiled pork belly) and makguksu (chilled buckwheat noodles), then added extra rice and mixed it into the sauce. Even the less-spicy level has a gentle tingle that keeps the appetite going, so Obongjip Samseong Branch works well for a hearty Korean meal when spice is a problem.
