Yangyang barbecue near Naksan Beach: binchotan ribs at Yeoyejeong
Yeoyejeong is a charcoal barbecue restaurant on Ssangsolbaegi-gil in Seo-myeon, Yangyang, Gangwon, about 13 minutes by car from a Naksan Beach stay. On a weeknight dinner visit, marinated ribs (yangnyeom galbi) cost 18,000 won for 3 servings and kimchi jjigae 5,000 won, both cooked over coffee-tree binchotan charcoal. The ribs at Yeoyejeong were tender, but the kimchi jjigae packed with thick-cut aged kimchi was the dish worth the drive.
