Gyodong Daegu noodle restaurant: bulgogi pho and pad thai at Thai Yami
Thai Yami is a Thai and Vietnamese restaurant in Gyodong, Jung-gu, Daegu, just behind the Novotel. On a Friday night out with friends, the table shared kai phrai (handmade chicken salad), pad thai and bulgogi rice noodle soup with draft beer: the pad thai carried a proper smoky char and the bulgogi noodle soup had a rich broth with crunchy bean sprouts. Kai phrai is the one dish worth ordering every time at Thai Yami.
