Gyeongsan Korean restaurant: ₩7,900 summer yeolmu bibimbap, Cafe Dongi
Cafe Dongi Yeungnam University Art Center Branch is a single-serving Korean set-meal restaurant on the 2nd floor of the main hall at Yeungnam University's Cheonma Art Center in Gyeongsan, Gyeongbuk. Over lunch with her visiting older sister, the writer ordered the summer-only yeolmu (young radish greens) bibimbap set for ₩7,900 and the individual-brazier jeyuk (spicy pork) set for ₩12,900, adding fried eggs, gim (seaweed) and barley crackers from the self-bar. With a spacious hall, parking on the ground floor of Cheonma Art Center and a campus stroll afterwards, Cafe Dongi made for a good-value Korean meal.
