Grilled kimchi and steamed egg at Matdongsam, a Daegu pork BBQ
Matdongsam Beomeo Main Branch is a pork BBQ restaurant in a renovated house on Dongdaegu-ro 74an-gil in Beomeo-dong, Suseong-gu, Daegu. One serving of special ogyeopsal (thick pork belly) and two servings of jjondeuksal were grilled with stir-fried kimchi, potatoes and mushrooms, then the meal finished with steamed egg, grandma's doenjang stew and rice. At Matdongsam, the grilled kimchi and garlic oil sauce lingered longer than the pork itself.
