Yeoksam-dong sushi restaurant, Korean beef tartare sushi: Sushi Maiu
Sushi Maiu Seolleung Station Branch is a conveyor-belt sushi restaurant in Yeoksam-dong near Seolleung Station in Gangnam, Seoul. Dining alone at 3pm on a Saturday, the writer ate two plates of Korean beef tartare (yuk-sashimi) sushi along with otoro, sea urchin roe maki and cheese grilled prawn sushi, with plates priced from 2,100 to 7,500 won. Because plates on the rail can be left covered and ordered fresh instead, Sushi Maiu suits a solo meal at an in-between hour.
