Wild garlic wraps and doenjang pot rice at Dongtan BBQ: Gogigaondang
Gogigaondang Dongtan Branch is a cauldron-lid pork belly (ogyeopsal) restaurant in Bansong-dong, Hwaseong, Gyeonggi. Two servings of fresh five-layer pork belly cost 36,000 won and came with homemade doenjang (soybean paste) pot rice, steamed egg and fried rice, alongside house-fermented napa cabbage kimchi, Taebaek wild garlic leaves for wrapping and a canned coffee on the way out. Since the staff grill the pork for you, Gogigaondang is an easy, filling meal with none of the fuss.
