Samgyori Dongchimi Makguksu Namhangjin branch is a makguksu (buckwheat noodle) restaurant in Gangneung, right across from Namhangjin Beach. Makguksu comes in one style only, at 11,000 won, and you season it to taste with the dongchimi (watery radish kimchi) broth and chili sauce served alongside, with freshly grilled buckwheat pancake and buckwheat dumplings at 8,000 won each. Even someone whose family home is in Chuncheon approved of the flavour, and the buckwheat pancake is well worth ordering with the noodles.
