Gangneung dessert shop taste test: strawberry vs persimmon sand
Gangneung Sand Main Branch is a sand dessert shop and café tucked inside Seonggokgoyang-gil in Gangneung, Gangwon. As a travel gift for in-laws, one box each of strawberry and dried persimmon flavor (17,000 won each, 10 pieces per box) was bought and tasted: the strawberry sand had a deep, rich flavor, while the dried persimmon was subtler than expected. The cherry blossom box and individual wrapping suit gifting well, and between the two, strawberry was the better match for my taste.
