Cheongju lunch spot: gochujang pork for 2 with kimchi noodles
Ttukbangjip is a Korean restaurant in Sajik-dong, Cheongju, open only from 11am to 3pm serving charcoal-grilled gochujang pork. On a Saturday lunch visit, two servings of charcoal gochujang pork, kimchi-rolled noodles, and rice came together with cheonggukjang (fermented soybean stew) and radish pickles. The domestic misakjeonji pork was chewy with smoky charcoal flavor, and the kimchi-rolled noodles turned out to be a must-order alongside it.
