Gwangju brunch a 10-minute walk from Seo-gwangju Station: Bueokgan
Bueokgan Sangmu Branch is a pasta and brunch restaurant in the Sangmu district of Seo-gu, Gwangju. With a train to catch, the writer walked under 10 minutes from the Seo-gwangju Station bus stop to be there for the 11am opening and ordered the signature pastry soup at 10,000 won, abalone cream risotto at 20,000 won and pepperoni pizza at 17,000 won. All three plates at Bueokgan Sangmu Branch — right down to the green Tabasco served with the pizza — were still on the writer's mind after the trip home.
