Gwangju Cheomdan Chinese restaurant with mini shrimp toast: Mayway
Mayway is a fusion Chinese restaurant in the Cheomdan area of Gwangsan-gu, Gwangju, on the main road beside Cheomdan Lotte Mart. At Mayway the 12,900-won one-person set meal and a solo portion of seafood nurungjitang (crispy rice soup) were ordered along with mini menbosha (shrimp toast) and gunmandu (pan-fried dumplings), and the smoky jjamppong and thick sirloin tangsuyuk (sweet and sour pork) stood out most. With a self-serve bar that even includes rice and free ice cream after the meal, Mayway makes a filling lunch stop in Cheomdan.
