Brunch restaurant in Sangmu, Gwangju: porcini cream pasta at Camel

Camel Orzo is a brunch and Western-style restaurant on Uncheon-ro in the Sangmu district of Seo-gu, Gwangju, said to be run by the same group as the now-closed Tate Modern. Three dishes — naturally fermented bread with house-made cream cheese, fig-berry jambon salad, and porcini cream pasta — came to 46,800 won in total, and the European-style outdoor tables and warm wood-toned interior of Camel Orzo were the highlights. For a slow brunch somewhere with real atmosphere, Camel Orzo is an easy pick.
