Breakfast pho in Jeonju from 8:30am, with banh xeo wraps: Phodam
Phodam Jeonju City Hall Branch is a pho restaurant on Paldal-ro in Wansan-gu, Jeonju, run by a Vietnamese chef and open daily from 8:30am, early enough for breakfast. The order was spicy brisket pho with cha gio (fried spring rolls), banh xeo (Vietnamese savoury pancake) and rice paper wraps, and wrapping the crispy banh xeo in rice paper next to the fiery broth was the most satisfying combination. For a hot bowl of broth early in the morning in Jeonju plus a spread of Vietnamese dishes in one place, Phodam is the answer.
