Tangsuyuk and jjajangmyeon lunch, Haeundae Chinese: Bueokgan
Bueokgan Chinese Haeundae Branch is a Chinese restaurant on Dalmaji-gil in Haeundae, Busan, part of a complex that also holds a restaurant and a bakery café. Stopping in for lunch during a Busan trip, the writer ordered su-ran samgyeop ganjjajang (jjajangmyeon with a poached egg and pork belly, 10,000 won), wu-samgyeop beef jjamppong (12,000 won) and black vinegar pork loin tangsuyuk (sweet and sour pork, 28,000 won), and none of it tasted harsh, so the tangsuyuk and jjajangmyeon went well together. Bueokgan Chinese feels more like an upscale restaurant than a standard neighborhood Chinese spot, which makes it a nice treat on a trip.
