Cleansing balm for dry skin: HEEDA Jirisan Moist Charcoal
In short
I tried HEEDA Jirisan Moist Charcoal Cleansing Balm on dry skin in Korea during winter, when tightness and rough texture were my concerns. The solid balm melted and emulsified smoothly, and it left my skin feeling fresh yet moisturized after cleansing.

How was the texture on dry skin?

I have dry skin that feels very tight after cleansing, and my skin texture becomes rough when it lacks moisture. In the dry winter months, the dryness in the office made flakes and bumpy texture stand out even more.

HEEDA Cleansing Balm had a black solid-balm texture. It melted softly on my skin, and when I added a little water and massaged it in, it emulsified into a white texture.

How did my skin feel after cleansing?

I cleansed one half of my face first to compare, and felt that blackheads looked cleared away and my skin texture seemed smoother. I used it without double cleansing based on my own routine, and my skin felt fresh yet moisturized afterward.

Even when I massaged it close to my eye area, I did not experience stinging in my eyes. Previous cleansing products had stung when they got into my eyes, so this felt more comfortable for me.

What skin concerns did I use it for?

I used it when I was concerned about winter tightness, flakes, small bumpy texture, and blackheads. Rather than saying that one use solved every concern, it gave me a sense of whether it might suit someone like me who values how their skin feels after cleansing because of dryness.

Was the container easy to use?

There was a space inside the lid to store the spatula, which let me use it hygienically. The one-touch lid also looked convenient for carrying it around.
