Weekday-noon bread ranking, 4 picks at Mandong Jegwa, Yeonnam bakery
Mandong Jegwa Yeonnam Branch is a takeaway-only bakery a 6-minute walk from Exit 3 of Hongik University Station in Seodaemun, Seoul. Visiting around noon on a weekday with nothing sold out, I picked up the onion bagel, pretzel, bacon ciabatta and sweet potato bread, cut them up at home, and ranked all four. My top pick was the onion bagel, packed edge to edge with cream cheese.
