When traveling overseas, I often need to take out not only my passport but also cards and cash. I tried the Packly RFID Passport Wallet (팩클리 RFID 여권가방) to keep the things I needed organized in one place.
Is it a comfortable size to carry in a bag?
The package I first received described it as a passport wallet and indicated an RFID-blocking feature.
Although it is made for travel, I thought it would also be useful for everyday public transit because it can hold cards and cash together.
I took it out of the box and checked its size.
It was smaller than I expected, so it did not feel burdensome to put in my bag.
It is only slightly larger than a passport, so I felt it would be convenient to carry while traveling.
How can you separate your passport and cards?
When I opened the wallet, the interior storage sections were divided, with a separate space for a passport.
When I put my passport in, it fit well and stayed securely in place without shifting. Since it is an important item, I liked that it fit so securely.
The card section held my transit card, credit cards, and hotel key card together. I could see where each card was at a glance, making them easy to take out when needed.
Can it hold banknotes and coins too?
There is a zippered compartment on the back for small coins. I thought it was a good setup for gathering coins left over after using cash abroad.
Inside, there is space to fold and store banknotes, which made it useful for organizing exchanged cash as well.
The cash compartment has a zip closure, which made it feel secure for storage. Keeping my passport and cash together meant I did not need to take out a separate wallet while traveling.
What did I think of the RFID-blocking feature?
Among the features stated for the product, the RFID-blocking feature stood out to me.
I was concerned about card-information security while traveling, and the indication that it has a blocking feature made me feel reassured in crowded places such as airports or tourist attractions.
Was it convenient while moving around or checking in?
The outer band held the wallet closed so that it did not open easily. With the strap, I could carry it lightly, and it also worked well like a small travel bag.
With my passport, cards, and cash inside, I could quickly take out what I needed at airport or hotel check-in. The most convenient part was having to search less for them separately inside my bag.
I was satisfied that I could keep important belongings in one place while using separate compartments. It is a passport wallet I would like to keep using on my next overseas trip.
