Shirokuma is a sushi restaurant in Mulgeum-eup, Yangsan, right beside Yangsan Pusan National University Hospital. On an evening reservation, the writer and her boyfriend took a table divided by partitions and ordered salmon 5p + eggplant 5p for 18,500 won and the popular à la carte set of 12 pieces for 22,000 won, with Shirokuma's signature eggplant sushi — crisp outside, moist inside — the standout. With partitions between every table, Shirokuma works easily for a date or even a first blind date.
