Hakata tonkotsu ramen solo dining in Yeonnam-dong: Shomendo
Shomendo is a Hakata-style tonkotsu ramen restaurant in Yeonnam-dong near Hongik University Station in Seoul. The visit covered shrimp tonkotsu (₩12,000), Hakata tonkotsu ramen (₩11,000), and handmade gyoza (dumplings, ₩5,000), plus free kaedama (extra noodles) and rice added to the leftover broth. The rich tonkotsu broth was even better with garlic stirred in halfway through, and the seating made it easy to eat solo.
